1. Event Participation Rules

• Participants must assemble at the venue by 4:00 AM for Full Marathon and 5:00 AM for Half & Quarter Marathon.
• Medical fitness certificate is mandatory for Full Marathon participants.
• The BIB number is compulsory and must be pinned visibly on the chest without folds or cuts.
• The BIB chip must not be damaged; otherwise timing will not be recorded.
• Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
• Feeding & refreshment points will be provided as per AIMS rules. Extra water points may be added depending on weather.
• Taking refreshments from non-designated points can lead to disqualification.
• Medical aid will be available along the route. Participants feeling unwell must stop and seek help immediately.
• Participants must cross all timing mats to record official timing.
• Elite and national runners will start first, followed by others.
• Different race categories will be flagged off at different times. Early start will lead to disqualification.
• Toilets and medical stations will be available at the start/finish and key points.
• Finishers will receive medals only if they complete within the official cut-off time.
• Official timing results will be published online within 2 weeks.
• Winners must report near the stage for prize distribution.
• The Organizer may request ID or age verification at any time.

2. Entry, Fees & Refund Policy

• Entries will be processed only after full entry fee payment.
• Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Entries may be rejected if incorrect information is provided.
• If the event is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, government order, or circumstances beyond control, the fee will not be refunded.

3. Health & Safety

• Running involves physical exertion. Participants must ensure they are medically fit.
• The Organizer is not responsible for injuries or death unless caused by proven gross negligence.
• In case of injury, medical support will be provided at designated hospitals within limits defined by the Organizer.
• Participants suspected to be unfit may be disqualified.

4. Categories

Timed Categories: 42.195 km, 21.09 km, 10 km
Non-Timed Category: 5 km Fun Run

Minimum 6 participants per category required for prize eligibility. Categories may be merged if required.

5. Travel Partner – Buddha.tours

Buddha.tours (Silkroad India Private Limited) is the official Travel Partner for the Bodhgaya Marathon. They may provide hotel packages, transport, tours, and related services independently. The Organizer is not responsible for services purchased directly from Buddha.tours.

6. Data & Privacy

• Participant information may be used for event communication, verification, timing, and emergency purposes.
• No financial information is stored on BodhgayaMarathon.com.
• Participant photos and videos may be used for promotional purposes.

7. Liability

• The Organizer is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
• Event route, schedule, and arrangements may change based on police/security instructions.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for the Bodhgaya Marathon, participants confirm they have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
